MakeX

MakeX is a free community makerspace in the Cubberly Community Center that offers access to cutting-edge digital tools, power tools, and building materials. Staffed by local high school students, MakeX aims to facilitate creative design through peer mentorship. Visitors can tackle any project with the help of the expert design, ideating, and fabricating resources available at MakeX.

PAYC

The Palo Alto Youth Council (PAYC) is a collaborative of Palo Alto high school students committed to servicing the needs of the teen community by serving as a voice toward change and action. PAYC keeps cognizant of issues relevant to the teen community and works to develop creative and engaging ways to raise awareness and resolve. PAYC meets biweekly on Tuesdays, 5:00pm-6:30pm.

TAB

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of dedicated high school students in Palo Alto who want to plan and lead high school events for students. TAB members serve for one school year and meet bi-weekly at the Mitchell Park Community Center. The TAB mission is to represent and support the diverse junior voices of the Palo Alto community. Teen Art Council

The Teen Arts Council is a creative community of Palo Alto teens dedicated to enriching the lives of their peers through artistic expression, producing events and projects inspired by the passions of council members. Meetings are held every Wednesday (excluding holidays or dates with conflicting PAUSD events) from 6:30 - 7:30pm. The first two Wednesdays of the month are held at Mitchell Park.

ThinkFund

TLab

The Teen Library Advisory Board(TLAB) is a group of dedicated teens who share new ideas about teen library activities, materials, while identifying teen issues with solutions, and making the library a better place for all teens.

Art Center Teen (ACT) Leadership

ACT Leadership assists in producing programming that connects teenagers to art and artists. Help us plan our next teen only event or virtual program, make and exhibit art, learn about art careers, gain leadership skills, make friends from different schools, and earn service hours along the way.

Project Safety Net

Project Safety Net (PSN) mobilizes community support and resources for youth suicide prevention and mental wellness. We are a coalition working on community education, outreach, and training; access to quality youth mental health services; and policy advocacy.

Mitchell Park Teen Center

The Teen Center at Mitchell Park services as a hub for middle and high school teens to connect and engage, with weekday hours during the school year beginning September 12, 2023.

Palo Alto Link Teen Service

Palo Alto Link provides an independent transportation method for teens to get to programming and services throughout the City. For only $1, access all the places in Palo Alto served by PAL, or teens ride for free to select locations!
