Baylands Nature Preserve
2775 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303
Bounded by Mountain View and East Palo Alto, the 1,940-acre Baylands Preserve is one of the largest tracts of undisturbed marshland remaining in the San Francisco Bay. Fifteen miles of multi-use trails provide access to a unique mixture of tidal and fresh water habitats. Many consider this area to be one of the best bird watching areas on the west coast.

Announcement : Baylands Nature Preserve is reopened to vehicles. Restrooms and benches are open. BBQs, picnic tables and water fountains remain closed. The Baylands Interpretive Center remains closed.
Please respect other park visitors and keep at least 6 feet apart if not of the same household. When letting others pass on trails, be aware of snakes, ticks and your footing when making room off the trail.
