There are many resources available for unhoused individuals in Palo Alto. The Santa Clara County Community Resource Guide features county-wide resources relating to emergency and homeless assistance, social services, community outreach resources, employment resources, housing resources, and more. The Community Services Document features a list of public bathrooms and local organizations that may be able to assist with food, shelter, and more.

Access Safe Parking
Safe parking refers to programs and places which allow households dwelling in their vehicles to park vehicles in a designated off-street parking lot. Palo Alto’s program provides a place for the households to park on a temporary basis, and ensures participants have access to restroom facilities, and connections to social service programs, and other support to transition to permanent, stable housing. Move Mountain View may be able to connect you with a safe place to park in Palo Alto.
