Linda Gass
About the artist
Bay Area artist Linda Gass is best known for her stitched paintings about climate change, water, and land use. Her love of textiles began in childhood when her grandmother taught her to sew. She balances artmaking with championing environmental causes and backpacking in the wilderness, where she finds inspiration for her work.
