Art Center Studios Drop-in Programs

All drop-in programs are now open, including life drawing, collage, printmaking, and jewelry!

Life Drawing and Painting from a Model

  • Programs occur weekly unless noted below
  • Tuesdays, 6-9 p.m. (nude model, quick pose) (no sessions on 07/04/2023, 12/26/2023 and 01/02/2024)

  • Tuesdays, 1:30-4:30 p.m. (costumed model, long pose) (no sessions on 07/04/2023, 12/26/2023 and 01/02/2024)
  • Thursdays, 1:30-4:30 p.m. (nude model, long pose) (no sessions on 11/23/2023, 12/28/2023 and 01/04/2024)
  • Bring your own supplies
  • Fee: $15 cash only per session payable to Drop-in Coordinator
  • Maximum attendance: 22

Paula Kirkeby Press Drop-in Printmaking

  • Studio A at the Art Center
  • For experienced printmakers only, ages 18 and over
  • Program membership required
  • Printing Day Pass: $12 for Palo Alto residents; $14 for non-residents
  • Quarterly schedule emailed to members

Collage Drop-in Group

  • Studio B at the Art Center
  • Weekly on Wednesdays, 10a.m.-1 p.m. (no meetings 07/05/2023, 11/22/2023, 12/27/2023 and 01/03/2024)
  • Fee: $10 per session

  • Fee: $36/month for Palo Alto residents; $42/month for non-residents; Day pass: $12 for Palo Alto residents; $14 for non-residents

Ceramics

  • For Enrolled Students only. You must be enrolled in an Art Center Ceramics class this quarter to use the ceramics studio.
  • Unlimited use drop-in passes are available online or in person
  • Day use passes are available to purchase in person at the Studio Office
