Join the Project Look Docent Program
Project Look serves K-5th grade students from local schools. Docents lead interactive tours of the Art Center galleries and provide assistance with hands-on art activities. Tours are scheduled Tues.-Fri. at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. from Sept. through May. New docent training will take place on September 7, 10, and 14 from 9:30 a.m to 12 p.m. New docents will then participate in fall exhibition training with the entire docent cohort on September 17, 21, and 24 from 9:30 a.m to 12 p.m. Contact Director of Volunteer Engagement Grace Pegan Abusharkh at firstname.lastname@example.org for application instructions and next steps.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and State and County restrictions, the Palo Alto Art Center has modified and cancelled many of our programs. We are offering limited volunteer opportunities, both virtual and in-person. All in-person opportunities require mask-wearing and strict social distancing.
