Celebrate Earth Day and Earth Month this April!

April is Earth month, and a great way to think globally and act locally about climate action. Learn ways to celebrate Earth Day and Earth month with these events, workshops, and community celebrations.

April 14: S/CAP Ad Hoc Meeting on Carbon Neutrality, Register here
     Each month, the Sustainability and Climate Action Ad Hoc Committee meets to discuss various sustainability and climate action topics and how the City is addressing each. The April meeting focuses on Carbon Neutrality.

April 16: We Love Earth Festival, Menlo Park
     Celebrate our beautiful planet while learning about actions we can collectively take to address the climate crisis in a fun environment that includes entertainment.

April 20: EV 101 — Electrify Your Ride
     Learn about EV and e-Bike charging at home and on the road, incentives, and ownership basics.

April 22 —Earth Day: March and Rally for Earth, King Plaza, 4 to 6 p.m.
     Celebrate the climate progress local cities have made and encourage community spirit as we push for a more sustainable future.

April 23: Palo Alto Youth Council Earth Day Fair, Mitchell Park Bowl, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
     Paint pots, plant succulents, and write climate pledges to add to a community tree while learning about how to help the planet.

April 23: e-Bike in the Park, Mitchell Park Community Center, 10 a.m. to noon
     Take an e-Bike out for a test right, view various models, talk to experts, and learn the basics of e-Bike ownership.
