Rooftop Decks Approved for Downtown Palo Alto

Downtown buildings taller than 50 feet are now allowed to build roof decks. The Council vote on Monday, February 25 applies to buildings constructed before a 50-foot height limit went into effect in 1986.

Houzz, a home design startup on Hamilton Avenue, is the first location to be granted a conditional use permit between the hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
