Palo Alto Makes it Easy to Cast Your Election Day Vote
Election Day is almost here and the City makes it easy and convenient to cast your vote early for the Nov. 8 election. Right outside the front doors of City Hall you will find a white Ballot Drop-Off box that is the size of a mailbox. Absentee voters can submit their ballots there through Election Day, Nov. 8. The Registrar of Voters office will be collecting the ballots several times a week, but remember this courtesy drop-box is for voters registered in Santa Clara County only.
You can also cast your vote early at the Rinconada Library on Oct. 29-30 and Nov. 5-6 from 12-5 p.m. On those days, voting will take place in the Embarcadero Room.
Last Day to Register to Vote
Not yet registered to vote? It's not too late to have a say in the election. You have until Oct. 24 to get your application postmarked or submitted electronically through the California Online Voter Registration website.
