Exercise Areas for Dogs

City of Palo Alto Public Parks with Dog-Exercise Areas

These three parks are the only parks in Palo Alto containing areas where dogs can be exercised off-leash, as long as they are in the designated dog exercise areas. At all other locations, dogs must be kept on leashes.

Mitchell Park - 600 East Meadow (one block west of Middlefield). The exercise area is located at the south side of the park, behind Spangler School.

Greer Park - 1098 Amarillo (at Amarillo and West Bayshore). The exercise area is located at the west side of the park.

Hoover Park - 2901 Cowper (at Cowper and El Dorado). The exercise area is located at the south side of the park, next to the creek.
