Earth Day and the Great Race for Saving Water

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the first Earth Day!

Get ready for the Great Race for Saving Water and Earth Day Festival by learning where everything will be on the day of the event.

Map details and event schedule are subject to change. Maps will be available at the festival. 

 

Biking to Earth Day 2020 is encouraged, and those who bike to the event will receive an extra raffle ticket. Also available are free minor tune-ups & repairs, bike blender smoothies, e-bike test rides, bike jeopardy, bike way-finding services and more!

BIKE ROUTES TO THE EVENT

From Downtown
Cal Ave, Collage Terrace, Mid-town
From South Palo Alto

BICYCLING
Biking to Earth Day 2020 is encouraged, and those that bike to the event will receive FREE tune-ups and repairs! Additionally, you can decorate your bike and take a tour around the Baylands. Extra raffle tickets will be provided to those who bike.    

PARKING
Parking will be available in the lots off Geng Road near the Palo Alto Baylands Athletic Center. Parking assistants will be available to help direct traffic.

ZERO WASTE
We are making Earth Day and the Great Race for Saving Water a zero waste event! Bring your reusable water bottles and fill up at the Valley Water truck. GO Box will provide reusable food containers so you can enjoy tasty bites from our food vendors. Relax with a zero-waste picnic while listening to live music and other entertainment!
