Gridshift Hackathon

The City of Palo Alto Utilities is partnering with Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE), Peninsula Clean Energy (PCE), East Bay Clean Energy, and Powerhouse to co-sponsor a decarbonization hackathon called GridShift on January 31st 2020 at the Google LaunchPad in San Francisco.  The GridShift Hackathon will be focused on decarbonizing our energy system, and will be a tool to both elevate conversation around decarbonizing as well as accelerating innovation by energy providers. This event will bring together coders, energy experts, and energy enthusiasts to create a piece of code that can be used to help the decarbonization transition of our energy system. Teams will have the chance to win $16,000 in cash prizes. Everyone is welcome - no coding or energy experience is required.
