To report a power outage, please call Dispatch at (650) 496-6914 using the phone with number on your utility account in order for our system to detect the outage in your area.

The City launched a new Outage Management System to better track and respond to unplanned and unexpected power outages. This will allow us to speed up our restoration rates and enhance our ability to communicate with you about what's happened in your area. Be sure to check back here for the most up-to-date information on outages and system restoration. 


Note:  The Outage Map automatically refreshes every five minutes. When calls come in (even one), the system will detect which feeder area that call is from and shade an entire area. Although an entire area may be shaded, it does not mean that all or most of the customers are without power.

Recent Outages:

January 10: At 5:20 am, power was disrupted for 11 customers in Barron Park. A downed tree landed on a utility wire. Crews restored power by 11 am.

January 8-9:  Power was disrupted for approximately 1800 customers around 9:30 pm. The cause was weather related.  At 5:30 am, power was fully restored.  Power was disrupted again for another 600 customers at 6:20 am in the same area. The cause was also weather related. Power was fully restored by 9 am.  

December 18, 8:18 am: Power outage for about 59 customers due to a blown fuse.  Crews fully restored power by 11:13 am. 

December 16, 12 pm:  Power outage for about 260 customers due to tree limbs down on wires. Crews restored all services by around 5:45 pm.
