Do I Need Insurance?

Applications for the Lucie Stern Community Center are available online or can be picked up at any City of Palo Alto Community Center during regular business hours. Once you submit your application and it has been approved, you will receive an emailed copy of your permit.
Your permit will detail your rental date, times, fees, and rooms you are scheduled for. We can process the payment in full upon approval of your application, or break your payments down into 2 installments. The first installment is the $500 cleaning deposit plus 1/2 of your total rental. The final installment is due no later than one month prior to your event date. Failure to pay by your payment deadlines will result in the immediate cancellation of your event.
Please note that all cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted via e-mail no later than 1 month prior to your event or you forfeit all prior payments made. Upon receiving a cancellation request, your $500 deposit will be refunded but the 1/2 of your total rental will be kept as a cancellation fee.
