Palo Alto, CA – Palo Alto Children’s Theatre Artistic Director Judge Luckey has announced the theatre’s lineup for 2014/15. The season includes four main stage productions, nine Playhouse productions and six Outreach productions performed at elementary schools.
Three-time recipient of the Palo Alto Weekly’s Best Place for Live Entertainment, the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre celebrates its 83rd season. With annual attendance of more than 39,000 audience members, the theatre continues its mission of engaging children through the power of the arts.
“With recognizable and well-loved works from children’s literature, we are thrilled to create a dynamic, engaging theatre experience for children of all ages,” said Luckey. “Our commitment to children extends from these productions to our Arts education classes and camps for children ages 3-18; Outreach Theatre productions serving children at all 12 public elementary schools; and our Dance in Schools Initiative serving 4,000 students enrolled in the Palo Alto Unified School District.”

Awaken a young person's desire to read when you join us for this lively musical about Junie B. Jones and her adventures in first grade. This special production features local professional actors and additional student matinee performances.

Chasing the White Rabbit, Alice tumbles down the rabbit hole into Wonderland where she meets all its famous residents. Join us for this beautifully adapted comedy for audiences of all ages.
Tickets are on sale now! Playhouse is an interactive theatrical experience specially designed for children ages 3 to 6. In collaboration with a professional teaching artist, high school teenagers bring beloved fairy tales to life on the Magic Castle Stage. Presented in an informal setting, these productions are a great introduction for young children to the imaginative and creative world of theatre.
Performances are approximately 45 minutes in length, Saturdays at 10 a.m. and noon, and Sundays at noon.
