Contact : Sarah Goodman, Marketign Coordinator    650-605-3511
Do you have an object in storage that you can't seem to let go of? Allow it to be made into art!

Palo Alto, CA - The Palo Alto Art Center is looking for community members to donate once-loved, meaningful objects for a community art project by Bay Area artist Shenny Cruces that will be on display at the Center this summer. Shenny takes found objects and casts them, recreating porcelain assemblage sculptures and installations that explore the meaning of objects in our lives. Share your life by sharing an object that will be made into a sculpture at the Palo Alto Art Center!

How to participate:
Choose an object to share. It could be a figurine, dishware, toys, antique items, doilies, or small pieces of furniture. Pick an object that you have had for a period of time, was given by a friend, or that has some significant in your life. Bring that object to the Palo Alto Art Center anytime from February 1 through March 1, 2013, to participate.

Please note that the Art Center cannot guarantee the safe return of your object.

The Palo Alto Art Center is located at 1313 Newell Road in Palo Alto. Exhibition hours are Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, please visit the Palo Alto Art Center page.
