Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto City Library and Books Inc. of Palo Alto are pleased to announce that Ramona Ausubel will be talking about her debut novel No One Is Here Except All of Us on February 16, 2012. Her fiction has been published in the New Yorker and collected in the Best American Fantasy.

Ausubel, a finalist for the Pushcart Prize, will be speaking and signing books at the Downtown Library, 270 Forest Ave., Palo Alto. The program begins at 7 p.m.

"Working with Books Inc. is a pleasure," said Anita Delaney, the Coordinator of Library Programs. "Reading and supporting first time authors brings a bit of magic to our reading community."

The novel is a boldly original examination of memoir, family, violence and the power of storytelling, which was inspired by the author's own family history. In the tradition of Jewish storytelling, the story shows us the ways that we shape our own truths.

The partnership brings novelists and short story writers to Palo Alto every month. Library customers with further questions should contact Ouida Charles, at ouida.charles@cityofpaloalto.org or (650) 329-2620.
