The Police Department would like to caution the public to be aware of their surroundings, especially when walking after dark. Avoid situations where a robber may strike. Try to stay in well-lit, populated areas, and try not to walk alone. While circumstances will vary and every person will have to make their own decision on how to respond to a unique situation, it is generally safer to comply with an armed robber’s demands. Remember it is not worth it to be harmed over some property which can be replaced.

There will be no further information released about these incidents at this time as they are actively under investigation.
