Recent Indecent Exposure Incidents

Palo Alto, CA - In the past month there have been several indecent exposure incidents in Palo Alto.

On one occasion, the suspect was arrested for exposing himself to a victim in the Bol Park area at 3950 Laguna Avenue. 

The other three exposures occurred in the 200 block of Stanford Avenue near the intersection of Birch Street and Oxford Avenue, and at the foot path near Terman School at 655 Arastradero Road. The suspect associated with these three crimes has been described as a Hispanic male adult between 20-30 years of age, approximately 5'6" to 5’8” tall, and weighing between 180 and 200 pounds.

On October 12, 2010, a suspect fitting the description of the suspect involved in the previous indecent exposure incidents approached four female victims at the same time and exposed himself to them. This incident occurred near Park Boulevard and Oxford Avenue at 8:30 AM. The suspect, an Hispanic male in his 20s wearing a black sweater and blue jeans, fled the area walking towards El Camino Real on Oxford Avenue. 

In another indecent exposure incident which occurred on October 12, 2010, at 4:20 AM, a Palo Alto Police Officer was patrolling along the northbound CalTrain platform when he observed a subject masturbating. The subject, Carl Leroy Jones who is 59 years of age and a transient, was arrested, cited and released with a notice to appear. There were no other victims on the platform at the time.
