Multiple Indecent Exposure Incidents in the Past Week

Palo Alto, CA -- There have been four indecent exposure incidents in the past week. Palo Alto Police have arrested a suspect in one of the four incidents. Investigators believe that there is a second, unrelated, suspect still at large.

On September 21, 2010, at approximately 7:35 AM, a suspect exposed his genitalia to a victim in the 200 block of Stanford Avenue.

On September 23, 2010, at approximately 8:15 AM, a suspect exposed his genitalia to a victim in the area of Birch Street and Oxford Avenue, which is two blocks from the incident that occurred on September 21.

On September 25, 2010, at approximately 6:30 PM, a suspect exposed himself to a victim at Bol Park, 3590 Laguna Avenue. Palo Alto Police flooded the area and located a suspect a short time later who was positively identified by the victim. He was then was booked at the San Jose Main Jail for Indecent Exposure and a probation violation. 

The arrested person is Reducindo Sandoval, a 47 year old resident of East Palo Alto, who is currently on probation in San Mateo County.
On September 27, 2010, at approximately 9:15 AM, a suspect exposed himself to a victim on the foot-path near Terman School, 655 Arastradero Road.

The outstanding suspect has been described as a Hispanic male, between 20-30 years old, 5'6" to 5'8" in height, and weighing approximately 180 to 200 pounds. The suspect is reported to have dark hair and is clean shaven. 
Detectives are actively looking for the person responsible for these crimes and are following up on investigative leads. Police want the community to be aware of the incidents, and report any suspicious activity to the police department by calling 9-1-1 or 650-329-2413.
