Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto Public Art Commission engaged artist Greg Brown to restore the mural, Man Pushing Cat in Stroller, located on Bryant Street just off University Avenue.  Brown completed the restoration of the mural over the weekend of August 21 – 22, repairing damage to the face, shirt and lower portions of the piece.

The mural is one of a series that Greg Brown began painting around downtown Palo Alto in 1975. Brown’s trompe l’oeil paintings grace downtown Palo Alto as well as our sister city of Linkoping, Sweden. In addition, this mural is part of the Art in Public Places Collection maintained by the Palo Alto Public Art Commission.
