Palo Alto, CA -- The Palo Alto Children's Theatre is proud to present the theatrical production of Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Performed by teen actors, this production is being produced as part of The Big Read program, an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest. The stage production of Fahrenheit 451 marks the culmination of three months of Big Read events produced by the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre in partnership with the Menlo Park Library, including book discussions, workshops in local classrooms, and a film screening at the Aquarius Theatre.

In one of literature's most haunting denunciations of censorship, Ray Bradbury uses the materials of science fiction to tell the story of Guy Montag, a fireman forced to burn books.
