Palo Alto City Library Presents Free Teen Writing Workshop

Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto City Library will present a writing workshop for teens in grades 6-12. The presenter, Betsy Franco, is an author and editor of numerous books for children and teens including her latest young adult novel, Metamorphosis: Junior Year. Teens will discover writing tips and secrets, and will have the opportunity to ask questions about the publishing world, work on writing techniques and meet other teen writers.

Date:  Wednesday, March 24, 2010
Location:  Mitchell Park Library, 3700 Middlefield Road
Time:  3:45 – 5:15 p.m.

"This is a hands-on workshop so everyone is invited to bring pen and paper and get ready to write," said Laurie Hastings, Teen Services Librarian.

This program is made possible through a grant from the Friends of the Palo Alto Library.
