Palo Alto, CA – On April 24, 2008, at approximately 7:00 a.m., a 15 year old female was on her way to Palo Alto High School from another early morning program. She was walking alone north bound in the 1400 block of El Camino Real on the east side of the street when an adult male approached her and began walking along side of her. The male attempted to make small talk with her, while several times "grazing" her with his arms. When the juvenile was near the intersection of El Camino real and Churchill Road, the male attempted to lead her down Churchill Road. The juvenile instead continued down El Camino Real. At this time the suspect grabbed the juvenile’s buttocks and tried to pull her towards him in an apparent attempt to hug her. The suspect attempted this twice, but each time the victim pushed him away and told him to leave her alone. The victim then ran northbound on El Camino Real towards Palo Alto High School, where she immediately reported the incident to school administrators, who in turn reported it to the Palo Alto Police. The suspect was last seen walking east bound on Churchill Road from El Camino Real.

The suspect is described as a medium skinned Hispanic or possibly Polynesian male in his early 30s. He was approximately 5’9", and weighed between 180 to 200 pounds. He had brown hair and eyes, with no facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a grey/blue fleece pullover jacket with a short zipper near the neck, blue "carpenter" style jeans and grey tennis shoes. He introduced himself to the victim as "Jesse." There was no vehicle seen or associated with the suspect.
