Palo Alto City Library Expands Kids’ E-Book Collection

Palo Alto, CA -- The Palo Alto City Library has expanded its free e-book collection with Bookflix, a Scholastic on-line literacy resource, which features 80 non-fiction and fiction e-books and 20 Spanish language titles that will engage children for hours. Bookflix also contains special features including read-along options, highlighted words with definitions, educational games. Bookflix has received rave reviews by the Palo Alto City Library Children’s Librarians. "Bookflix is a fantastic collection of read-along and animated picture books," says Maya Spector, School Library Liaison Librarian.

In addition to Bookflix, the Library subscribes to Tumblebooks Library, which has a wonderful e-book collection of 100+ animated, talking picture books for children to browse on line. Tumblebooks contains e-books in many languages including Chinese, Russian, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Library customers can also enjoy our entire e-book collection for all ages including Legal E-books, Califa digital books and music, Safari Tech Books, California Mission e-books, and so much more.
