The Palo Alto City Library Presents: The Red Panda Acrobats

Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto City Library continues its free series of events celebrating Silicon Valley Reads: The Distant Land of My Father, by Bo Caldwell with a riveting performance by The Red Panda Acrobats.

 •  Location: Mitchell Park Community Center, 3800 Middlefield Road

The Red Panda Acrobats was formed in Shanghai, China in 1990 and is based in the Bay Area. The professionally trained troupe performs year round, dazzling audiences of all ages.  Their fast-paced, spectacular shows, performed in colorful costumes to traditional Chinese music, have amazed and delighted audiences throughout the United States and around the world. 

The Palo Alto City Library will be presenting several programs related to The Distant Land of My Father, including In Conversation with Bo Caldwell, a performance by The Firebird Youth Chinese Orchestra, as well as many book discussions. All programs are free.
