Palo Alto, CA – The City of Palo Alto and the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce will host "Recipe for Recovery," a forum about business disaster planning and recovery, on Tuesday, February 5, from 7:30 – 9:30 a.m.


"One of the key elements to building a resilient community is ensuring that businesses, both large and small, have the tools to prepare effectively for any type of disaster. This forum will help the Palo Alto business community continue this important dialogue," said Chamber of Commerce CEO Sandra Lonnquist. 

Speakers include: 

  • Dr. Frances Edwards, Associate Professor at San Jose State University and noted expert on disaster preparedness;
  • Raelene Wong, Senior Manager of Business Continuity at Applied Materials; and
  • Xochitl Monteon of Environmental and Occupational Risk Management at E-bay.
