Contact : Dan Ryan, Agent, Palo Alto Police Department    408-406-1330
Palo Alto, CA - Police responded to the 300 block of Curtner on Friday afternoon after a resident was robbed at gunpoint in her home. At approximately 1:10 p.m. two young women and a teenaged male knocked at the door of an apartment in the 300 block of Curtner. The female occupant answered the door, and one woman asked if "Miguel" was home. Told that they must have the wrong address, the woman caller displayed a handgun and ordered the occupant to the floor.

Her associates then entered the home and ransacked the bedroom while the victim was held at gunpoint. The trio absconded after five minutes; taken was a small amount of cash, jewelry, and a cellular phone.

Patrol officers and detectives scoured the area, and checked with the neighbors for possible witnesses, without immediate success.

The armed suspect was described as a twenty year-old Hispanic female, approximately 5’ 6" tall and with a thin build.  She wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, and carried a dark-colored semi-automatic pistol.

Her female accomplice was also Hispanic, approximately 18-20 years of age, and possibly 5’ 5" tall.  The male subject was Hispanic, approximately 12-14 years old, and shorter than the two women. The trio was last seen on foot, leaving the apartment.
