Palo Alto, CA. - The Palo Alto Police responded to the SOS Market at 941 Emerson Street on the report of a robbery that had just occurred.  Upon arrival, police discovered that the market’s owner, clerking at the time had been robbed at 7:55pm by four Pacific Island suspects.  The suspects quickly entered the store where two of them ran to the rear of the store and stole several cartons of alcohol.  Another of the suspects brandished a knife and ordered the victim to open the cash register.  When she could not open the cash drawer, two of the suspects broke open the register and took a small amount of cash.

The four suspects appeared to be Pacific Islander male adults between the age of 18 years old and 25 years of age.  All of the suspects were wearing dark clothing, including hooded sweat shirts and baggy jeans.  Two of the suspects had long bushy afro style hair.  All four of the suspects appeared to have medium brown skin color.

The suspects fled the store and ran to a waiting car a short distance away.  A witness was able to capture the license plate of the waiting car.  All four suspects are still at large.  The Palo Alto Police department continues to investigate this robbery.
