Green Building Author-Expert Jennifer Roberts Speaks at Palo Alto City Library

Palo Alto, CA – Jennifer Roberts, author of Redux, Good Green Homes and Good Green Kitchens, which the Los Angeles Times praised as "an encyclopedia of great ideas on how to build a kitchen with a conscience," will share her expertise at Palo Alto City Library’s Main Branch on September 27, from 7 – 8 p.m. The talk will include information on building, remodeling and living "green" while reducing utility bills and maintenance costs, conserving resources and improving the indoor air quality of a home.

Roberts has worked as an environmental and energy management specialist for Gap Inc., and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. She writes about green buildings and green living for publications as varied as Body and Soul and The Financial Times, and publishes the online newsletter, Good Green News. A graduate of Dartmouth College and Stanford University, Roberts lives in San Francisco.

This free program is sponsored by the City of Palo Alto Recycling Program, Palo Alto City Library, the Friends of the Palo Alto Library and Books Inc.  Copies of Roberts’ books will be on sale at the event.
