Palo Alto, CA – The Palo Alto City Library is migrating to a new library services platform and will suspend its LINK+ interlibrary book-borrowing service on Friday November 20, 2015 until February 1, 2016. The suspension of the LINK+ service is due to necessary data cleanup to ensure the library’s successful transition to Innovative Interfaces’ Sierra Services Platform. The introduction of the Sierra Services Platform, replacing SirsiDynix’s Horizon Integrated Library System, will allow new system integration where patrons will enjoy their local checkouts and LINK+ checkouts combined on one patron account.
