The season includes four main stage productions, nine Playhouse productions, six Outreach productions performed at elementary schools, and a special event presented by the Friends of the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre.

Three-time recipient of the Palo Alto Weekly’s Best Place for Live Entertainment, the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre celebrates its 84th season. Annually serving more than 40,000 community members, the theatre continues its mission of engaging children through the power of the arts.

"With recognizable and well-loved works from children’s literature, we are thrilled to create a dynamic, engaging theatre experience for children of all ages," said Luckey. "This season the Children’s Theatre is celebrating the 100th birthday of world renowned children’s author Roald Dahl by mounting stage adaptations of two of his most popular and beloved books: The BFG and James and the Giant Peach."
