Palo Alto, CA -- A man driving a silver sedan exposed himself to a woman out for a walk on Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at about 10:30 a.m., our 24-hour dispatch center received a call from a woman at the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Hale Street reporting that a man in a vehicle had just exposed himself to her.  She reported that the vehicle had since left.  Officers responded immediately but did not locate the vehicle or suspect.

The investigation revealed that, at about 10:20 a.m., the victim, a woman in her seventies, had been walking on the north side of the 900 block of Hamilton Avenue.  A man, seated in the driver seat of a vehicle that was parked along the curb, motioned for the woman to approach the vehicle.  When she neared the vehicle, she observed that the man's pants were below his knees and he was masturbating.  When the victim backed away from the vehicle, the suspect fled the area, driving west on Hamilton Avenue.  The victim and suspect did not speak to one another.

The victim described the suspect as an unshaven Hispanic male in his twenties or thirties, and the suspect vehicle as a silver sedan bearing a California license plate ending in "690."  No suspect sketch will be forthcoming.

No other similar incidents have occurred in this area recently.  Detectives do not believe this incident is related to the series of indecent exposures that occurred in October of 2014.
