Palo Alto, CA – Enjoy family fun and entertainment on Saturday, May 26 from 1-5 p.m., in the heart of the former town of Mayfield. The theme of Mayfield Reading Day is the celebration of the magic of reading. Families will enjoy an afternoon of stories, face-painting, crafts, browsing at a Scholastic book fair and a 2:30 p.m. magician performance. Events will be held in the library at 2300 Wellesley Street
and in the adjacent park.

Proceeds from the book fair will be used to support the Library’s popular summer reading program for youth.

Mayfield Reading Day is made possible by an enthusiastic collaboration between the Palo Alto City Library, College Terrace Neighborhood Association, Friends of the Palo Alto City Library and dedicated community volunteers.

For more information, please visit the Library’s website at or call Anita Delaney 650-617-3100 ext. 3215.
