Palo Alto, CA –The Palo Alto City Library announces a new Creative Tools laptop available at the Downtown Branch to meet community interest in high-end digital media software.
Software installed on the laptop includes:
◦ Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
▪ Premiere Pro
▪ After Effects
◦ Fusion 360
◦ MakerBot Desktop
This service is designed to support and encourage self-guided learning, production, and creation of digital media. Library staff can assist customers in locating library materials for learning these advanced software tools. However, because the skills often go beyond those of our staff, we are interested in having community members volunteer to provide tutoring sessions.
"We are eager to support the creative pursuits of the community," said M Ryan Hess, Library Services Manager. "If you would like to help us and have experience working with Photoshop and Illustrator, we are looking for volunteers." Individuals may reserve the Design Software Station for up to three hours per day. Book your laptop session time online at this link here.
