2020 Sustainability and Climate Action Plan Webinar Series

In September 2020, the City of Palo Alto launched a webinar series to highlight various topics in the 2020 Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP). Stakeholder and community engagement is an important part of this process. The series will conclude with a community input meeting on the key actions to include in the final 2020 S/CAP. The City of Palo Alto launched an update to the Sustainability and Climate Action Plan (S/CAP) earlier this year to help meet our City's sustainability goals, including our goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions 80 percent below 1990 levels by 2030. City staff proposed goals and key actions in seven areas: Energy, Mobility, Electric Vehicles, Water, Climate Adaptation and Sea Level Rise, Natural Environment, and Zero Waste.
