Request for Major Architectural Review for Sign Exception for the installation of one illuminated free-standing sign that exceeds the allowed sign area.  The sign is proposed to be 60"H x 138”L with an area 57.5 square feet where only 24 square feet is allowed. The sign will be fabricated from aluminum with acrylic push through lettering reading, “City of Palo Alto Public Safety Building”. Additional signs in this application include a new wall sign and directory sign that comply with PAMC 16.20 sign code. Exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) in accordance with Guidelines Section 15311 (Accessory Structures). Zoning District: PF (Public Facility). Environmental Assessment: Exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act per Sections 15301 (Existing Facilities).
