Flags Flown at Half-Staff Honoring Boulder, CO Tragedy Victims

The flag outside Palo Alto City Hall, the Municipal Service Center, and all City buildings and fire stations are being flown at half-staff in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Boulder, Colorado.
President Biden issued a proclamation on March 23 as a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on March 22, 2021, in Boulder, Colorado.
President Biden issued a similar proclamation on March 18 to honor the victims of the tragedy in the Atlanta metropolitan area, and flags outside all City facilities were similarly flown at half-staff.
Palo Alto City Council adopted a resolution on March 22 denouncing, condemning and combating racism, xenophobia, and intolerance against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the City of Palo Alto.
Flags will be flown at half-staff until sunset, March 27, 2021.
