Celebrate Cultures, Promote Equity & Support Community

As a community we’ve begun the slow process of recovering from a year of tragedy and uncertainty. As the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic continues to bring signs of hope and recovery every day, we continue the important work of coming together and rebuilding as a community. This blog offers ways to connect together through fostering healing, celebrating our diverse cultures, promoting race and equity, and focusing on community wellness and well-being.
This May, June and beyond, Palo Alto is continuing race and equity conversations and initiatives launched last year, adding new events to come together on this important City priority. In addition, the City is celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month this May with a series of events hosted by the Palo Alto Library, the Community Services Department, and community partners. Last, the City continues to stay focused on community wellness and wellbeing through it’s Wellness Wednesdays event series and other resources. Read the full blog post to learn more!
