April is Earth Month, and a great time to gather as a community to honor and protect our planet. 

Take advantage of local opportunities to engage with your neighbors on climate action, learn new skills or information to reduce your environmental impact, and celebrate our community’s sustainability efforts.

Earth Day Photo Contest

Show us how you take climate action in our community! Celebrate Earth Month by sharing photos of local actions you take to reduce your emissions and protect the environment. We want to see what you do to make a difference for the planet during Earth Month and beyond. And don’t forget to be creative. There will be one grand prize winner who will win a tour at the GreenWaste Palo Alto Recycling facility to see how our recyclables are managed and a runner up lunch tickets for the MSC Open House this July. Category winners will be featured on the City’s social media and website.
