Family Storytime: Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month- Join Librarian Devon for a special AAPI Month storytime on Tuesday, May 9 from 11–11:30 a.m. and on Saturday, May 13 from 11–11:30 a.m.

Button Making Pop-up for Teens: Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month- Drop by Mitchell Park Library after school on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 for button making in the Teen Zone! We will have designs featuring famous Asian American and Pacific Islander figures in celebration of AAPI Heritage month.

Author Event: Nicole Chen- Do you love books and boba milk tea? Join us for a middle grade author event in honor of AAPI Heritage Month. On Saturday May 20 we will host Nicole Chen, author of the middle grade book It’s Boba Time for Pearl Li! and local Palo Alto mom Olivia Chen, co-founder of Twrl Milk Tea.

Movie Screening: Everything Everywhere All at Once- Join us in celebrating AAPI Heritage Month with a screening of the Academy Award winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022). Sunday, May 28 from 1–3:30 p.m.; for adults and seniors only.
