Public Tours of the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center

Valley Water has resumed public, in-person tours of the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center to inform the public of the plans to develop long-term solutions to combat the drought by purifying secondary treated waste water.

Free tours are offered the first Friday and Second Saturday monthly, starting January 2023. See the complete tour schedule.

Purification center tour attendees will get an up-close experience of the Silicon Valley Advanced Water Purification Center and learn:

• About recycled water and enhanced recycled water, and how it fits in the county’s overall water supply.
• About water supply resiliency and the future expansion of recycled water for drinkable water usage.
• How advanced recycled water will protect us from the drought and reduce our dependence on imported water.
