Family Movie Night

Join the Community Services Department for Family Movie Night on the Mitchell Park Southeast Athletic Field, Friday, June 25th.  We'll be showing the movie, "The Goonies"! Seating will start at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8:30 pm. This is a free event, but pre-registration is required. Capacity is limited, so register early.

Ticketing Rules

  • Tickets are ONLY Available online and in advance.
  • To allow for proper social distancing, no more than 6 people will be allowed per registration, and groups of 6 will be seated together. Only 1 Ticket is needed for up to 6 family membersPlease Do NOT register each family member for the Movie Night.
  • Please print out your ticket and bring it to the Event (you can show email confirmation from your phone). There will be two tents for check in.
  • All attendees must stay within their designated pods throughout the movie (except bathroom breaks)
  • Disclaimer: The Person using this ticket assumes all risk of personal injury and loss or damage to property.
  • The City reserves the right to revoke tickets.

Participant Rules

  • In the event it is necessary for a guess to leave their social distancing pod, safe social distancing and mask wearing will be strictly enforced.  
  • The event is wheelchair accessible.  Please indicate in the "additional information" section of your registration if anyone in your party will be using a wheelchair.
  • Safety first!  Please plan to wear a mask. Individuals with symptoms (fever, cough) will not be allowed.
  • Seating is on the grass, so please bring your blanket or lawn chairs.  Lawn chair seating is limited to the rear 3 rows and will be available on a "first-come, first-served basis" the night of the event.

Food

  • You must pre-order meals from Ada’s Cafe by emailing kathleen@adascafe.org by Wednesday, June 23rd (these items are not on regular menu). This menu is all focused on "The Goonies"!
  • You may also bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • You can only eat inside your designated pods.

    • ($7) Pepperoni Pizza
    • ($5) Potato Chips w/ French Onion Dip
    • ($3) Baby Ruth Candy Bar
    • ($6) Rocky Road Ice Cream - 2 scoops

  • We have two bathrooms available on site.  Please refer to the map for actual locations.
