Taekwondo with Master Eungsub Kim - AAPI Heritage Month Event

Taekwondo (태권도) is a Korean martial arts that famous for its fast kicks and demanding athleticism. It places focus on kicks and sparring strategy, as well as self-defense, rolling and falling techniques, and basic forms. It became an official olympic sport in the year 2000, and is practiced in over 200 countries around the world. 

Master Eungsub Kim is a seventh degree black belt in Kukkiwon Taekwondo and a ninth degree in Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo. He was born in Seoul and moved to the United States in 2012. He has taught for over thirty years in South Korea, Canada, Israel, and has been teaching in Redwood City since 2012. Master Kim focused on both competitive sparring and athletic demonstrations during his career, and enjoys teaching children, adults, and families of all ages.

Master Kim will teach some basic taekwondo moves and self-defense.
