The City of Palo Alto will be hosting a local Summit on Women & Girls;* the theme is Equity and Inclusion for Women and Girls – COVID and Beyond.

The Summit will serve as a starting point to inform, mobilize, and energize the city and community towards greater opportunity and equity for women and girls in keeping with the City’s commitment to race and equity.

The keynote speaker will be Lori Nishiura Mackenzie, Co-Founder - Women’s Leadership Innovation Lab and Lead Strategist - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion - Stanford Graduate School of Business. She will speak on Intersectionality and the Impact of COVID on Women.

A key feature of the Summit will be a series of Breakout Sessions on topics important to local women and girls; you will be able to attend two Breakout Sessions. Each will feature a panel presentation followed by Q & A and an interactive conversation. There will be both adult and youth panel members (list of Breakout Session topics and speakers(PDF, 196KB)).
