Project Description

This project will rebuild and replace the underground electric system in Underground District 26. Work will include the replacement of deteriorated electrical cables, transformers, switches, and enclosures. Installation of new equipment will bring the electrical system up to current construction standards.

Scope of Work

  • Pull in new cable
  • Replace existing fussed switches with new solid-state interrupting switches
  • Remove old cable

Project Status

This project is currently in the planning stage. Estimated project to begin in Spring 2021.

Project Timeline

  • Spring 2021

    Reconfigure circuit on Arastradero Rd north of Deer Creek Rd and south of Foothill expressway. Remove old equipment and install new equipment.

     

  • Spring 2022

    Complete rebuild along Arastradero Rd between Foothill Expressway and Ynigo Way. Removing old equipment and installing new equipment.

     

  • Spring 2023

    Complete rebuild between Ynigo Way and Los Palos Ave. Removing old equipment and installing new equipment.

     

  • Spring 2024

    Complete rebuild between Los Palos Ave. and Irven Ct. Removing old equipment and installing new equipment.
