LONG TERM DISABILITY
One of the most important assets to you as an employee is the ability to earn an income. The Long Term Disability program, administered by CIGNA, is designed to continue a portion of your income if you’re unable to work due to sickness or injury. LTD benefits will be payable on a monthly basis after satisfying a 60 day period of disability. Benefits are payable until you are able to return to work. How much LTD coverage can I purchase?
Non Management employees have two options when purchasing
LTD: Option 1 and Option 2. The amount of income replacement you recieve is based on the coverage option you select. Please refer to "Benefit Guide & Enrollment/Change Forms" section for more information
Management employees are automatically enrolled in LTD coverage. Please refer to "Benefit Guide & Enrollment/Change Forms" section for more information

When does my coverage start?
If you enrolled as a new hire, your coverage begins first of the following month in which you turn in your paperwork.
If you are enrolling 30 days after your hire date, your coverage will begin first pay period after the approval of your application.
