The City of Palo Alto is including environmentally friendly “green” features into all of the new municipal structures being built. These include energy saving features to reduce greenhouse gasses and retard global warming, water saving measures, reduced waste practices, pollution prevention measures and the use of materials with a reduced impact on the planet’s resources.
