Touch Screen Voting Demonstration at City Hall

Palo Alto, CA -- The Registrar of Voters will be in the City Hall Lobby at 250 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto, on Monday evening, October 20, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to demonstrate the new touch screen and absentee voting systems. The demonstration is free and open to the public.

Santa Clara County representatives will provide the public with a hands-on demonstration of the voting equipment.

"We want to acquaint voters with the new technology, and we hope that with this demonstration, we can remove or alleviate any fears or anxieties that voters may have," said Donna Rogers, City Clerk.

The touch screen voting system will be used for the upcoming November 4 election in most locations in the County. Questions about the system can be directed to the County Registrar of Voters at (408) 299-VOTE.
