Palo Alto, CA -- The City of Palo Alto Transportation Division is sponsoring two public meetings on the Charleston Road-Arastradero Road Corridor Plan. The Corridor Plan, which was requested by the Palo Alto City Council in April of this year, addresses a range of issues including school commuter safety, bicycle and pedestrian needs, and traffic congestion "hot spots." Each meeting will have the same agenda and program. Two public meetings are scheduled so that as many residents, commuters, and other users of the corridor as possible have an opportunity to attend.
The program for each meeting will include a presentation of alternative design solutions for the corridor, future traffic projections, and a public discussion of corridor needs and the suitability of the various design options to meet those needs.
The meetings will be held from 7PM to 9PM on Wednesday, October 15th and Wednesday, October 22nd at the Cubberley Community Center, Room H-1, 4000 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto.
